Abstract

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is a public institution that has the task and responsibility of providing data and information in the field of statistics. This is in accordance with the mandate of Law No. 16/1997 on Statistics and Government Regulation No. 51/1999 on Statistics Administration. In producing and presenting statistical data, BPS always tries to pay attention to satisfaction and service quality to data users who are looking for statistical data. BPS always strives to provide better public services. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to identify the needs and satisfaction level of data users through the Data Needs Survey (SKD). The SKD has been implemented by the Directorate of Statistical Dissemination of BPS through the Sub-Directorate of Statistical Reference since 2005. Since 2014, the implementation of the SKD has been extended to district/city BPS The results of the 2020 SKD activities are presented in the form of publications that contain an analysis of the characteristics of data users, analysis of data needs, analysis of data quality satisfaction, and analysis of service unit performance. This analysis is complemented by a presentation in the form of the Consumer Satisfaction Index (IKK) and the Anti-Corruption Perception Index (IPAK).
